# Change your password

XYZ netbanking app allows you to change your password.

### Procedure

Perform the following steps to change your password:

1. After logging in, access the sidebar at the left menu button.\
   The left sidebar appears.
2. Click the **Setting**s tab. \
   The Setting dropdown appears, showing setting options.

3. Click **Security Settings.**\
   Security Settings screen appears.

4. Click **Change Passwor**d. \
   The change Password screen appears with the default **Change Password** as selected in the tab.

5. Enter the current password and make sure it is the correct password. \
   You can click the **Eye Icon** to see the password.
6. Enter the new password in the New Password field and re-enter the new password in the Re-Enter Password field. \
   A new password must contain a complex pattern to avoid hacking attempts.
7. Click **Submit**. \
   XYZ bank sends an email to confirm that the password has been changed.
